World Builder

The Elflight World Builder is a real-time 3D editing tool that enables a developer or artist to edit a world from within the world itself. This world may either be a live world or a parallel development world.

Real-time Collaborative Editing

Any changes made to the world are instantly visible to anybody else connected, enabling rapid collaborative development of 3D environments.

User Interface

The interface is built using Elf2D, the 2D sub-system of the Elflight Engine. As well as a wide range of 2D components, Elf2D also supports easily interchangable look and feels as well as 3D objects embedded within a 2D interface.

Collada

We support industry-standard Collada for importing assets from most major 3D packages. We also support a number of fixed formats including MS3D and OBJ.
